The trains @ MIA

These are a set of abandoned and extremely old train cars that I saw on a drive home in between two warehouses near Miami International Airport. As you can imagine I swung a U-eee as soon as I saw them. When I arrived I was the only one there, however soon after there were to other sets of abandoned-train-goers conducting photo shoots. Probably good to go early in the morning on a weekday if you want to get some shots without other people there. They are located on Milam Dairy Road, just between 22nd and 25th on the northbound lanes side.

Crandon Park Gardens (Old Zoo)

These beautiful gardens are whats left of the old Crandon Park Zoo which I believe closed in 1981 when the new Miami Metro Zoo opened down near Homestead/South Miami. Currently the park is full of beautiful flowers and ponds, with lots of wildlife. Some of the old habitats can be seen in my photos. They are currently building a petting zoo on the west side of the gardens over the canal bridge in the back. These were taken in January 2013.
